Dhananjai Kohli

As a progressive activist and organizer, Dhananjai Kohli’s focus has always been on creating grassroots networks as one part of affecting social change. He brings his experience in both politics and unions to his current position as the Executive Assistant to the President at CUPE Ontario, having served as the first racialized President of the NDP, worked as a political organizer on the municipal, provincial and federal level and as a Staff Representative for United Steelworkers. Dhananjai continues to advocate for a politically active multi-racial working class movement, and has built and supported many progressive coalitions through his union work.
