Nominations are now open for the 2026 Jack Layton Progress Prize and 2026 Charles Taylor Prize for Excellence in Policy Research.
The deadline for online nomination submissions is Wednesday, December 31st, 2025 at 11:59pm PST.
A shortlist of nominees for consideration by the Broadbent Institute will be released in February 2026. The recipients of the 2026 Layton and Taylor Prizes will be invited to attend the 2026 Progress Summit, March 4-6 in Ottawa to deliver remarks.
