Bryan Evans is a professor in the Department of Politics and Public Administration at Toronto Metropolitan University. Between 1988 and 1999 he worked as a policy advisor, policy unit manager, and policy branch director at the Ontario Ministry of Labour. His research has centered on Canadian politics, political economy, and public administration. Together with Carlo Fanelli (York University) he coedited “Against the People: How Ford nation is Dismantling Ontario”. Currently he is the principal investigator on a Social Sciences and Humanities Insight Grant exploring lobbying in the Canadian context.
