Jody Tomchishen

Jody Tomchishen is the Broadbent Institute’s Development Coordinator for Organizations. They have had a decade of hands-on experience with political and labour organizing, being an executive for their local union as well as their district’s Labour Council. Recently, Jody was a member of the Broadbent Institute’s call team, where they communicated with the Broadbent Institute’s broader community, deepening relationships and fostering a sense of solidarity while also fundraising for key initiatives. 

Jody received a Master’s in Philosophy at the University of Waterloo, where they focused on moral and political philosophy. Jody lives in Brant Ontario with their partner, two kids, and their aging cat.
