Karla Webber-Gallagher

As Chief of Staff to the Mayor of Toronto, Karla Webber-Gallagher moves the levers of Canada’s largest and most complex municipal government to deliver on the vision of an affordable, safe and caring city. She previously served as Campaign Director and then Chief of Staff to the Mayor of Hamilton, where she designed and implemented the Mayor’s agenda. Prior to her municipal work, she held senior roles within the Ontario NDP, including Provincial Director, Deputy Campaign Director during the Party’s breakthrough 2018 election, and Principal Secretary to Ontario’s largest ever Official Opposition. Karla has shaped political and civic institutions across Ontario grounded in a belief that politics should deliver for working people.
